How bad is this OMC?

I know this is not the best looking OMC. I can’t see how deep it is due to the setting but I’m assuming it has a shallow pavilion. Would you use a consider using a lesser cut for a pendant? And how bad do you think this one is? I’m not super sensitive so lay it on me.

I don’t like the middle at all… it looks like a fish eye. There’s lots of super pretty ones out there… I would keep looking.


I usually wait to post until a couple people weigh in cause what if I’m wrong, lol … I still have a lot to learn, but I’m sticking with my gut in this one

100 pass, just came to say I see the fish eye and a bold circle around it. I’m glad you aren’t thin skinned- I feel like it’s looking straight at me!

Thank you for sharing that with us - while just a pendant you can DEF do better! Let the search begin!!! I think @lavenderdragonfly23 is due for a solid hunt again- lol!

In the camp of thinking shallower diamonds make better pendants - no I wouldn’t jump on this stone for that/a classic pendant.

If I had a fun /niche /spicy/edgy project and felt the price was right for the stone
I wouldn’t necessarily let that fisheye be the end. ‘Dark’ character might be right for that niche project.

Yes, I feel very unsatisfied as our fun pear party was cut too short

No. I would rather have an eye visible inclusion or super wonk that a fish eye, if I’m buying a compromise stone.
