How can this diamond be a VVS2??

It is reflecting off the camera, so it looks more pronounced. That is my guess. I think it is the same diamond because the plot matched up.

I wouldn’t buy that diamond..:snooty:

I am a noobie trying to learn: are you saying that the "brown" inclusion and the inclusion that looks like it is on the same facet just much farther over to the left, upper corner (when it spins to the top of the frame) are the same inclusion?

I bet it's dirty in the video.

Note: only color is graded from the back. Clarity is graded face up under 10x magnification.

Yes..I knew that about color and clarity..but had a senior moment..haha
Whoever made that video should be ashamed if it’s dirt. If it’s not dirt then the grader had a liquid lunch..

Yes and you probably can’t see it in person.

I helped a guy 2 years ago since I was in the diamond district at NYC and I went and looked at an SI 1 with clear inclusions that looked absolutely like many skid marks on the magnified diamond and you completely couldn’t see them in person.

However, that was a round brilliant and this is an emerald cut. It would be interesting to see this one in person. The GIA certificate and plot for this one look good.

It sounds gross, but it almost looks like blood, or chocolate or spaghetti sauce lol. Like Denver appraiser says, I suspect it’s dirty
