Hey guys, still new to this. I caved and went to a local jeweler that a family member had a great experience with. Picked a diamond for an engagement ring. Here is the Gia. I think I got a decent deal as far as value goes. I feel the diamond was cheap, while still being able to showcase well.
we picked this one because of its surface was large enough to almost look like a 1.5..
I ordered this one and a 1.5 and they were very close size wise, across the top.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this as I am new to diamonds..

Here’s is a better pic of the first image. Sorry for double post. I paid a little over 4300 for the stone.

Welcome to Pricescope!

Unfortunately, you/we can not evaluate fancy cut stones from the numbers. We need up-close pictures, videos, and aset images.

Price looks fair. Here is a similar size that is a nice stone for comparison.

Okay, that is understandable. Thanks for the info!
I really wasn’t sure if the Gia report was enough to evaluate the stone aside from any purchase cost. I’d imagine there are certain spec/ parameters that a stone should try and maintain?

For fancy cuts there arent any "rules" about parameters. Its really all about how the stone looks and performs. So without pics, video, aset, we cant say one way or the other
