How long do ASET take from JA?

I need to purchase a diamond soon in order to have it in my hand before Christmas. I was told when I ordered the ASET that I would have it by Tuesday but I still dont. I called today just to make sure and was told I would be contacted when the ASET was done. I know I am getting frustrated over nothing but I did read another PSer that had a time issue with JA and getting an ASET. Is this the "norm" with them?

Busy time of the year, probably their imaging staff are overwhelm by the request.

I understand but as a business owner myself I know that you never promise something you cant keep. If I am told that I should have something by a certain time and I ask specifically if I will have it by Christmas and I am told yes but its going to be close so buy as soon as I can, I get ticked when its not delivered. Not delivering is a great was to lose a customer and in my line of work get a bad reputation.
While I am waiting I just keep looking online for another diamond who knows maybe I will find a better one.

Sorry to hear this.

My first request was overlooked, my second request was Monday, and I have not received anything either.

Busy, I know, but bad service I would say.

JTA, my first request that was overlooked,.. was re-sent last Fri. I was told it would take 3 days, and they emailed me the request the next day. When I came into work Monday, I saw it had been sitting in my email for 2 days. Not a big deal, but annoyed the heck out of me.
