So last night, friends came over to hangout and as they were leaving at the end of the night, one of them says, "oh my goodness, you guys have more pictures of your dog than I've seen ppl have of their babies." So I thought it'd be fun to ask you p'sers just how many pics do you guys have framed of your precious one(s)? Give or take one, we have 20 around the house.

Now that I think of it, should I be framing more? I think I'm going to go camera crazy again. I just can't help but to capture her every move.

We have:

A framed photo of our kitties on DH''s dresser
A framed photo of each of them on the bookshelf in our living room
3 photos that are in "coaster-frames" also in our living room

and then DH and I each have a photo of them at work.

But, I would say about 75% of the photos on my computer are of the kitties, and we have an entire album of their photos that''s about half full.

Our embarassing amount of photos are ones from our engagement/wedding - we must seem like the biggest narcissists when strangers see our home for the first time!

I''m crazy about my animals so I have a lot

One of Miller in the pool is by my fish. The other of Miller in the pumpkin patch is in the dining room. My only photo at work is of Miller.
I would probably snicker a little at 20, too.

I only have five up. Two of the cats are deceased, one is a cool picture of my grandma''s cat way back from ''69, and two are of my current kitties. We also have a digital frame which rotates through many family photos, including ones of our cats.

We only have a few photos in our house (though we will have more of him when we put up our wedding photos). Admittedly, though, I have more pictures of my dog on my desk than I do of my husband, haha. I really like this photo our photographer took between posed shots.

My parents'' dog is my desk top pic right now, but that''s the only one.

I think they have a couple of him up around the place.

He wasn''t snickering.. Just was surprised by how many there were.

Ooh Indy, what kind of dog is that? Love the coloring and texture of its fur!!!

ETA: Peepa I didn't mean it in a bad way at all. More like, Oh my gosh He's everywhere! He's everywhere!

Starset, he''s a Portuguese Water Dog. His fur is reddish black and it''s actually more like hair. So soft and snuggly! The coolest thing though is his skin, which is actually blue. No, really! Blue.

These dogs are very smart, but VERY hyper. Keeps my mom fit.

Oh my goodness! What a cutie, IG! I''ve never seen a PWD with a long teddy bear cut! Your parents must groom him constantly!! He''s adorable!

We have 4 up in our house (but 3 are in a "montage" frame) and one on my desktop at work!

Hmmm. I believe we only have two, and one of them was given to us.

And yes, we did give our parents framed pictures, too, but they asked for them! We DO have a slideshow of him on our mac with Queen''s "Best Friend" in the background though. DH''s students like to watch it during recess at school!

NEL, he's a nightmare, grooming wise. He's constantly filthy and my mom is always trying to clean him and brush him, but she can't keep up! He spends most of his day playing outside, fetching his squeaky ball, so his white paws are always covered with mud, and his hair gets all scraggly and full of bushes. But they think he looks silly with his 'proper' breed haircut so they keep him all bushy like that. And he IS cute, isn't he?

My fave thing that he does is that sometimes he can't be bothered to actually bark, so he kind of puts his head to the side, looks you deep in the eye and goes 'Haff!' kind of breathily. No actual vocalized sound just a breathy 'Haff!' Sooooo cute! ACK! I love that dog.

That''s the thing about those fleece coats--they are absolutely beautiful and fantastic for those with allergies, but the coat is such a handful. He looks like such a happy poofball, though!!

I love the "Haff"--they obviously want to communicate, but can''t bring themselves to use the energy to actually bark. When I get the haff, it''s usually to tell me that he''s bored and wants me to do something. Bossy.

We actually have quite a few PWDs at our local dog park, I really love their goofy, playful personalities. One of the PWDs in our obedience class came from Sweden and he was all white except a small brown patch on his chest. He was ALWAYS dirty, haha.

I only have one picture framed of one of our dogs. I guess I''m not a very loving doggie mom, ha! When I was growing up, though, my mom was such a picture fanatic. She had tons of those collage frames up full of pics of us kids and all the animals we''d ever had. DH gets ticked at me sometimes because I don''t take many pictures and when I do I''m totally lazy about printing them or ordering prints and framing things. I must have developed an aversion to photography because my mom was so extreme the other way!
