Good point that I missed.I think the price is fair if you like it. It is a 1+ carat stone. The stone is probably shallow because it is facing up somewhat larger for
an OEC versus smaller like they usually do.
I have to agree with @Rfisher (not that you asked), but I'm not fond of the stone.
I don’t think “I” would spend that much on a ring with a 1ct OEC that looks to have absolutely no contrast in facet pattern in the entire middle section of the stone, on the handshot photo.
add to that wondering if the ring itself needs any rehab work to be safe to wear.
I would pass on this and look for a smaller stone or save up $ longer.
unless, of course, the buyer prioritizes spread and clarity over facet pattern. That’s what matters, ultimately.

The hand shot does not look good but the glamour shot looks nice. Is it you in the photo trying it on and does it really look that way? For that price I would ask for a few clearer photos because the first photo looks good. Granted there is not as much contrast in the middle as many would like but you would still get chunky reflections that you would not get in a mrb. For me it is a maybe unless that is you in the photo and you know it looks that way in person as opposed to just being a bad photo.
