how often do you wear your colored stone RHRs?

i really want to purchase a colored stone to be placed in a setting as a RHR, but i wonder if it''s worth it because i am not sure how much i''d actually wear it, i know everyone is different, but do any of you feel you just don''t wear it enough compared to the money you spent on it? or do you love it to bits and wear it as much as your e-ring?

I wear at least two colored stone rings every day, and it can be on my left hand as well.

I get my money''s worth out of them because they give me so much visual pleasure end entertainment.

I have 3 colored stone erings, and one RHR (green tourm WF setting) and I wear all of the erings, switching off. I don''t wear the RHR as much because I haven''t been dressing up all that much lately plus its not insured yet. Not to mention that the center stone is loose. So once I get the stone tightened, get it insured, and dress up (sweats are king right now), I''ll wear it more.

every day, it changes, I sometimes just wear a diamond band on my Right hand or a colored one, the one I made for my e -ring, later changed it to house a gemstone for a RHR- that one I don''t wear as often, in fact the last time I wore that was in April. it''s just a bit taller probably is why I don''t wear it as often, and its a heavier setting too. It depends, do you normally wear a RHR? I''ve always worn some sort of ring, whether that be a plain band or other.

all of my rings (albeit they are few) have some meaning or story attached, whether in the stone choice or the occasion it was recieved, so that alone makes them worth while. I wear three of them everyday: my sapphire engagement placeholder band, a mother/daughter ring from my mom, and the very first ring I recieved from my now FI.

I would have to agree with TL though, if you really enjoy colored stones, my guess is that you''ll get your money''s worth just being able to have them mounted in a ring on your hand for countless hours of eye candy

I wear one everyday, either on my right or left hand. I just pick whichever I feel like wearing that day; it has no bearing on what colour clothes I might have chosen to wear on that day.

I probably wear a RHR only 50% of the time - just depends on my mood. The rings that I''ve put together (purchased loose stone and semi-mount separately) tend to get worn more often. I''ve come to realize what stone size I like, and I don''t compromise anymore by buying something smaller/cheaper, because I know I won''t end up wearing it much.

Probably about 50 percent of the time; I love rings, but I only have two that fit me well and are really comfortable to wear. I would say that is the biggest factor in determining how often I wear a ring, so if you''re worried you won''t wear it, make sure you pick a setting that will be easy to wear and fit your lifestyle.

I have little teeny diamond ring from my parents that I love (a tiny princess cut diamond with a little square halo) but its a little big and spins, and then the corners of the halo poke me.

I really need to get it sized and see if I can get the edges softened a little.

I never leave the house without my rings on. E-ring and wedding band on the left, RHR on, obviously the right.

I feel incomplete without one. But I don''t wear them all the time when it''s just me bumming around the house. I have a v.small jewelry collection so far, so I only have a little diamond, a blue topaz, and a prasiolite ring. I thought, when we bought the newest, that I might feel some pressure to juggle them to "get my money''s worth", but I enjoy owning them so much that it''s enough to just line them up on the desk and look at them while I''m online.

I''m super OCD about matching my jewelry to my clothes (or just wearing all diamonds), so I wear them about 4 times a week on average. I wear a coloured stone practically every weekend now that the summer is here and I''m wearing the bright jewel tones that go with most of my RHRs.

I''ve been switching out between my ACA and my OEC during the weekday this week, but it''ll probably be all colour next week.

I wear my sapphire ring about 3-4 days out of the week unless I am doing a rotation where rings are not allowed. I only wear my Tsavorite ring 1-2 days a month, mainly because I can only wear it on off days since it is a softer stone.

I have lots of RHR and I love them all. I will rotate them and wear them to match my outfit. I also don''t leave home without one otherwise I feel "naked" without it.

I have never worn a ring on each hand. I either wear my original diamond enagement ring or else I wear one of my colored stone rings as my engagement ring with my wedding band. In winter I switch them to my right hand because they get too loose, and my right hand is bigger.

I wear a RHR 98% of the time. But I have always worn rings on my right hand -- since at least middle school. So I feel odd without a ring. I have several different RHR and while what''s available for purchase has changed over the years I bought what I liked and all of them still get worn.

I love my RHR's, I just forget to put them on sometimes when I'm running late in the morning, which happens quite often. (I'm sure you're thinking right about now: how can a PS'er forget to put on jewelry?!

). When I do manage to remember (about 2-3 days a week) I usually pick one ring that goes with the outfit of the day.

By the way, recently I went on a 10-day Scandinavian cruise. Afraid of losing my precious RHR's, I left them all at home. I have to tell you, I never missed my rings so much as I did onboard the ship, especially every night at dinner when the other ladies were wearing their sparklies.

Because I can''t wear any jewelry when I''m at home (they all have to come off the minute I walk in the door, they just bother me) I make sure I always wear them when I leave even if it''s just going to the corner store for milk

Glad to learn that I am not the only one who wears color RHR every day! I always have my diamond on left hand, and have one color ring on my right hand. I made the color rings because I want to see them more often, what''s the point of keeping them in boxes (loose or mounted?)

I agree!I always get my money''s worth when im wearing a colored stone ring.I wear color often,whether it be garnet,turquiose,onyx or a sapphire.I pick to cordinate with my clothing,watch dial or the occasion.

I hate it when the job gets in the way of wearing jewelry on a daily basis.Right now im working a non-jewelry job where there is alot of checking in large heavy boxes, stocking shelves,cleaning and listing, and the general work that scratches metals,bends prongs and chips stones.I wear only one turgsten band at work and save the good rings for when Im not working.

I work with my hands a ton and I worry too much about damaging them. Fortunately, my e-ring seems pretty safe and is easy to wear under gloves.
