I know that it isn't possible to tell if a piece won't be sold but , as a generalization , do the ready-to-go pieces that he puts on his website sell out rather quickly?

The reason I ask is that he has a ring that I want to buy but , I have to save up for it. I know that he would probably re-create the piece if it sells but , I really like this one.

So , I guess I'm just looking for some comments saying , "The pieces usually stay on the website for a while." lol

Thanks.

Well a few have been on there for a while. I''m thinking of the halo with an old cut stone he describes as "off color" on the website. That''s been there for months. So fingers crossed!

Awe , thank you Thing2of2!

The one with the cognac diamond has been there for a short while too. I notice that when he puts up pave bands either single or his triple ones that they are always gone pretty quick. Although there are a few up there now. Maybe its just the teeny thin ones that go so fast bc they are so sought after right now.

It seems like many of them have been on a while. My guess is most of his pieces can''t be sized up or down very much and the buyer has to love that ring and be very close to the size. I think it is a good sales tool as it gives people an idea of what his pieces might cost. I get the felling if Leon had to recreate a ring in your size, it would cost close to the same. Of course, there are some one-of-a-kind pieces, too.

Why thank you! Unfortunately, she knows it, too, and uses her cuteness against me to do whatever she wants!

So...which one were you looking at, or do you want to keep it a secret? (I completely understand if you do!)

(lol)

She''s definitely a cutie.

No , I don''t mind divulging which ring I have my eye on.

It''s that gorgous canary oval diamond cluster ring - the one that looks like a daisy. It''s so sweet and it reminds me of sunshine. I have a weakness for canary/yellow diamonds.

It''s in the two-digit thousand range and I would definitely have to save up for a little while for it. But...I think I could , it would just take a while. lol I sure hope he doesn''t sell it.

I''d post a pic but , I''ve never been able to post pics on Pricescope for some reason.

Hi CrookedRock.

Something I've noticed is that , he sells out of his pink sapphires rather quickly.

Hi Swing girl ,

That''s good information. I hope the ring I want isn''t a one-of-a-kind. Does he usually specify in the description if it''s a one-of-a-kind piece?

I just looked on his website but I can''t see the ring you mean....

I can''t find it either! And it''s funy bc we were on his site last night and when I was on just now it''s different!

I actually was going to post and say you probably have a good chance of it staying up b/c it''s not in the "for sale" section. Ladies, check under the "cluster" rings section under the rings gallery.

Its a lovely ring!! Very pretty!

I hate to say this but I feel like that might have been on the for sale site before and been taken off and the picture moved without changing the wording...I would call Leon and ask if you haven''t already.

Hi Maisie!

Hi Neatfreak!

Thanks for telling me.

When I wrote asking the price , I also described the piece as the description said. I''m kind of surprised that it''s classified as a "cluster" ring because it doesn''t look like what I would consider a "cluster" ring. It''s a flower setting , colored center gem and surounded by white diamond "petals."

You have a very good point , though. I don''t see it as a cluster ring.

Thanks.

Hi scarlet16!

Thanks. I hope it sticks around for a while.

I didn''t mean that it wasn''t a cluster ring, I meant that I think it was actually in the for sale section before. Then someone likely bought it, and he moved the picture to the "gallery" so others could see the work, but the ring was already sold and he didn''t take off the words "this ring is available for sale". So you might want to call and make sure it is actually still for sale if you are planning on saving up for it.
