How should I sell my diamond?

I would like to sell the diamond that I currently have in my wedding set. It’s a J, VS2, 1.5 Ct round. I’ll have to dig my cert out to get the rest of the details. I’d like to sell it, but I’m not sure how. Local jeweler? Online?

Once you locate the grading report, there's a few options that you can try first:
1. Get quotes from local jewelers in your locale.
2. List it here in the for sale section.
3. List on Loupe Troop or I Do Now I Don't.
4. List it with an auction or consignment company/site.

You can create a post on the preloved forum here. You need to create a listing on Loupe Troop, eBay, etc. so that you can include a link to it on the listing. You may include pictures, copy of the cert, and as many details about the diamond that you can.

Thank you so much for your advice. As far as setting a price, I imagine I’d look up similar “used” diamonds and price it a bit lower than the comps?

If you want to sell it fast, you could reach out to Abe Mor. I sold a diamond to them and the transaction was quick and the price fair, in my opinion.
