Hello! I have a question, I have a necklace that I had custom made from BGD but I never wear it. How do I determine the resale value to list it for sale? Thanks everyone!

OP, glancing through your old threads on the Preloved forum, you've sold pieces from Tiffany, Whiteflash, Martin Flyer, and James Allen before, so why not use the same pricing method you've used in the past?

Generally speaking, I suggest you consider the price you paid, take into account current market conditions for diamonds and metal, factor how quickly you'd like to sell, and either the lowest price you'd accept or the price at which you'd choose to retain the item. I wouldn't list the item at your lowest price, but you want to have it fixed in mind should you receive offers or if too much time passes without a sale and you want to reduce the price.

BGD is a highly reputable vendor so I'd think you'd get a lot of interest from PSers -- good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I actually have not sold online for quite some time and I believe most of what I listed in the PL forum did not actually sell there. I guess I am just asking where to get the current market conditions for resale diamonds.

If you can find comparable stones BGD has available and see how much it'd cost to have the same/similar pendant made at the moment, you could take off a certain percentage and go from there?
