...to go to the Whiteflash page for ''my'' diamond and see that it''s SOLD?!?
That''s right, the ring is BOUGHT!!!
I am ridiculously excited and unable to concentrate for long periods on the stacks of reading I have to do for library school right now. Oh, well, this is such a relief, not to have to shop anymore.
Except... FF (!) and I noticed Whiteflash''s referral bonus policy, and what do you know but that I have a co-worker who mentioned wanting to surprise his GF in the not-too-far-off future, so I''ve pre-scoped out these babies.
Oh so classic four-prong round earrings. I don''t remember who has this quote as part of their signature, but diamonds really ARE my insania!
Anyway, thanks ladies for seeing me through up to this point. I know that S won''t be able to sit on the ring for long, and his pseudo-deadline is V-day, so we''ll see. I actually called my cousin''s wife yesterday (who dated him for 6 years--4 of which were long distance--before they got married, 5 before they were engaged, so she''s experienced with the waiting) and she was very excited/happy for me. She said, "Well, now that you know he''s got the ring, the hard part is over!" and she offered to help with any boring wedding details, which made little anxious me feel a TON better. Yay for good friends and all of you LsIW!!
