So today I went to pick up my dress and thought I'd peruse Burlington Coat Factory to see if any of their Easter dresses would work for the girls. They're my daughters and will both be walking me down the aisle, one on each side of me. They're 6 and 8, but my 8 year old is a size 12 height wise, so I wasn't expecting to find much that would fit both of them.

Weeeellll it took all of five minutes! :appl: I'd wanted to find dresses similar to mine but didn't think it would be possible. I'm attaching a pic of the three of them hung together. Ignore the cluttered shower/tub!

I also had been feeling less than satisfied with the choice for my wedding band and had noticed on my way into David's that there was a second shop (the B&M I went with has two stores). Anyhow, I had 15 minutes to kill before I could try my dress on so I walked in and found the EXACT band that I want. It'll be a euroshank to match my ering with a half eternity of shared prong diamonds w/.40 ctw. I keep looking for something to go wrong b/c everything just fell into place so nicely today. Hurray for progress! ::)

Love the fact that they have the same ruching as on your wedding dress :)) So glad that everything was perfect for you today. I had one of those days as well, well not days, WEEKS.. :))

The dresses look fantastic! Lucky you were able to find the perfect weding band too :)) !

Tammy, they're PERFECT :appl: Love those awesome days where things just work out!

Oh tammy, they're PERFECT! :appl: I'm so glad you were able to find such wonderful dresses for your girls!

And did you end up trying the dress on at David's when you picked it up? How'd it feel to be wearing YOUR wedding dress!?!?

Any luck on choosing a dance song for the wedding?

ooh I love them...they really are perfect!!! what do your girls think?

Those dresses are adorable!

Thank you everyone! They haven't actually seen the dresses yet. I bought two different sizes for my younger daughter and the largest they had for my older one. My younger would have been waaaay too whiny about not getting to pick a purple dress, etc.

I was going to have them try the dresses on today, but I'm now sick so I may not have them tonight. :( They just got better and I want to keep them that way! I'm sure they will love them though.

The song has been put on the back burner, but I do need to work on that! 8)

I did! It was good but less emotional and more "HOLY CRAP" mixed with feeling like I had to stay focused and make sure that everything was right w/the dress before I took possession. Once I got them all home and hung up there it was VERY cool to see it coming together. :)

Tammy, I just wanted to pop in and compliment you on finding such perfect dresses for your girls! I'm so impressed, I can't believe how well they go with your dress, It's hard to imagine finding better ones! Excellent choice, I love them. And great news about the ring, too! Glad you had a good day, and I hope you feel better soon.
