So, as some of you know, I decided to go ahead and trade in my old asscher for one that''s about the same size, but with better color and more narrow, even steps (My old one had a thick drop step that always looked like a big black square, and bothered me). Because the stones were about the same size, the jeweler was able to put the new stone in my setting today, without having to send it back to Verragio! He even fixed the prongs (they were uneven before).
