So, I told you ladies that I picked the bridesmaid dress, but I was a little nervous breaking the news to my pregnant best friend. She was SOOO sweet about it! I also asked her to be my second matron of honor, and she made me feel really good about that too.. Said she wasn''t expecting it and she was honored and that it made her whole day. :) And then.. part of me thinks she''s wacky for this, but mostly I just LOVE her for it.. So she is having twins. Her due date is March 26th, but she''s planning on having the babies around 37 weeks, because that''s pretty typical with twins, so that would be around March 10th.. and shes having a c-section (so she will have some choice in when she delivers, since its already decided that shes having a csection)... so she''ll be in the hospital about 4 days..

My shower is March 15th.. she DETERMINED to be there... she said even if she has to stop by on her way home from the hospital! Obviously, things change and who knows when she''ll have the kids..and I obviously told her I dont'' want her to stop in on the way home from the hospital.. but she''s just SOOOO sweet..

And then we were talking about the wedding, and her twins will be about 2 months old for that..She''s a little worried about working out her feeding schedule since she''ll be away from the whole day, or most of the day.. .. which is understandable (She is funny that she thinks about this all so far ahead of time, but I would be the same way!! )

I told her she was more than welcome to bring the babies to the wedding if she wants, but she kept saying "I don''t want to take away from you.." "I don''t want to get in the way.." OH MY GOSH! I am so freaking happy for her that she''s having these babies, that she''s wanted.. I don''t know.. since we were 11.. that she could carry them down the AISLE at my wedding and I wouldn''t even mind! I actually kind of want her to bring the babies to the wedding, cuz I''m soooo excited about them.. I''m sure I''ll want to see them as much as possible.. and teeny babies always make for cute pictures.. lol. :)

Anyway.. she''s just sooooo wonderful.. How could I NOT have asked her to be my Matron of Honor all along?
:)

My other bridesmaid left me a message on the knot yesterday, because she saw my dress pics on there, and she made me feel fantastic too! I don''t get to talk to her much, so little things like that are really special!

Things are really looking up!

So glad to hear everything worked out!

Your friend sounds fabulous--no wonder you asked her to be your maid of honor...

Personally, I think it''d be neat to have babies at a wedding because it''s the whole "Circle of Life" type theme...

That''s so wonderful that you have such nice friends!!! It really sounds like your bridal party will be really supportive and that''s so important!! Congrats!

Yaaaay! :) I''m so glad things are happy for you!

How great to have that support....and how exciting that you are both going through these life milestones at the same time!!!

I KNOW! It IS so exciting for us to be going through all of this at the same time (she''s a step ahead of me, since she got married in April and will be having babies even before my wedding.. but STILL.. There is so many happy occassions going on! Especially next March! My other bridesmaid and good friend is geting married on March 25th, so its going to be a very busy but exciting month! And both of them are seriously AWESOME, they are so helpful to me even though they are busy themselves! I consider myself very lucky!
