I can FEEL it..

So my FF and I were talking while I was cooking yesterday evening after he got home.


He had to give a speech about himself in one of his engineering classes, and he talked about me, and got a laugh when he said,

"And, I''m planning on being engaged soon... well, if she says yes."


He also said his best friend''s brother-in-law''s friend is the son of the owner of the restaurant we''re thinking about having cater our wedding. (I giggled to myself at the irony of the 5 degrees of separation) Anyway, he looked up the website and wanted to make reservations for this weekend, but then he found some wine-tasting dinner on Monday so he got all excited about the menu and decided to make late reservations for then. THEN, during dinner he asked me when a good time to call my dad would be.. lol I casually said.. "I dunno, maybe after 5?"

I feel it''s comming soon!! You think on Monday??

It''s funny that your FF asked about when to call your dad!
I probably would asked "Why are you calling my dad??" before realizing what he might be up to...

Hehe, yeah you''re right.

I just know him so well, that it''s the only logical explanation. He''s definitely not a ''suprises'' type of guy. I had posted a while back that he''s the type of guy who would probably call me and tell me he''s going to propose soon, and ask what restaurant I would like to have it at. Me on the other hand, would be the one to call his work, and sneakily ask his boss for time off to set him up for a suprise.


Go Figure.

Okay so I can rule out a possible proposal for this Monday night!



He set up a lunch date with my dad for next Saturday.... and then CALLED to tell me about it. I told you guys he would do something like that!


I told him, "You know... you''re kind of supposed to keep that sort of thing a secret."
he says, "Well, how much of a secret could it possibly be! You already picked out your ring!"
I said, "Yeaaaah, but some girls on the forum wait like MONTHS before they get their proposals; I want to be somewhat suprised!"
he says, "Okay.... I talked to your dad, to not set up a lunch date with him.. but he was looking for you. You should call him."


then during dinner...

he says, "So when I didn''t talk to your dad today, he didn''t mention it was theirs and your brother''s wedding anniversary coming up."
me: *jokingly scowls* "Brian!!"
