I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve

The ring will be done tomorrow or Wednesday. The save the dates are addressed and stamped, sitting on my table. The wedding website is finished. I know he's not going to wait more than a day or two to propose (we've actually talked about this).

I'm thinking the next 48 hours are going to be loooooong.

Thanks for asking! It went really well. My parents offered to pay for at least the reception and my dresses, so yay! We are all really excited. I will definitely post pics after it happens. I don't think it has hit me that it's all happening so soon.

I know my boyfriend is upset about the lack of surprise for us, too, but I keep telling him this is something we're doing together. It's not about him putting together some be-all-end-all surprise proposal with elephants and a jazz quartet and sweeping me off my feet with things that I've never seen before in our relationship and will never see again. It's about us, and our life together. He can propose while I'm brushing my teeth, and I'll be thrilled because I want to brush my teeth with him every morning. But it's nice that your boyfriend is concerned about making it special, anyway. I am sure it will be, no matter the circumstances.

He agreed it would be a good idea, but I'm not sure what he'll end up doing. The treasure hunt would be great because it would add some element of surprise and suspense. I guess I'll find out soon enough!
