I got my Emerald Cut Engagement Ring back from the Jeweler! Come look!

Good Evening!

I am very excited today. I finally got my engagement ring back from the jeweler.

It used to be an emerald cut solitaire in a platinum band. Now it is the same ring, but I just had them add a halo around along with some other personal touches.

I also have two thin diamond wedding bands that I wear on either side of the engagement ring. The jeweler made little gaps in the head for the rings to fit and not slide around How clever .

I was inspired by you guys so THANK YOU. I have been lurking for a long time!

feels so big on my finger compared to what it was before the halo. It's a .98 carat Emerald cut, vvs1, and now a total of 45 diamonds in EC ring and 48 in wedding bands (together). Not sure what that total carat weight comes out to be though.

wow i love the fact that the wedding bands fit into the e-ring! i always prefer the bands to sit flush but it can be hard with an EC.
Congrats on the ring its beautiful!

Yeah, I love that fact too. Before my halo, when I just had a plain head, the wedding bands didn''t fit so there was a huge gap in between the three rings. However, it still looked good I thought.

I am going to try taking better quality pictures...however, I am not sure if that''s possible with my Coolpix I am not sure why the head part looks so pic, because the center is only .98 of carat, and the diamonds in halo are less than pointers!

I was thinking of more of a delicate halo with out that extra metal...but this is the way it came out and I love it anyway
