I had an awful dream last night....

For whatever reason BF had to leave and there was a possibility that we could never be together again. He was a fire fighter and had to go fight a fire and I had to stay behind. I helped him pack and then we said good bye in our garage. It was so heartbreaking and I woke up in tears!

Its stuff like this that brings me back to reality and realize that the engagement isn''t that important, as long as I have him in my life. I would wait forever for him, and if he never proposed that would be ok because either way we would still be together and love each other just as much. I think sometimes a LIW can lose sight of what this really is all about.....

Thank goodness it was just a dream though!! I can''t wait til he gets home today and give him a big ol'' kiss!

AWE!!!!I''m sorry I hate dreams like that!! It''s is soo easy to get wrapped up in the excitement of taking the next step and you begin to lose sight of what is really important. Everytime I hear that Alicia Keys song "Like you''ll never see me again" I start balling my eyes out and think about how much I love FF, and never want to spend a second without him.

Ok first off... LLL stop changing your dang avatar!!!

Second - I've had those dreams too, and I've woken up crying. I woke up FF at like 4 AM SOBBING because I had a terrible dream about him and I fighting and separating. Dreams are sometimes a bit too real, and sometimes they really help you to realize what's important. Engagements don't seem quite as important after you have a dream about losing your SO. Puts things in perspective, and sometimes as LIWs, we really need that.

Give him tons of kisses tonight!!!

My dreams are so lifelike that I can totally relate to this! I have woken up crying before too! Have you ever had a dream of your SO cheating on you, I have, and those are terrible because the next day you actually feel angry with them and you can''t shake it. I once had a dream that my SO was having sex with another woman in our bed right beside me while he thought I was sleeping - ugh it was terrible!

UMMM did you see So You Think You Can Dance Wednesday night??? Courtney and Will (I think) danced a heartwrenching number to that song-It was so sad, made me realize that life is so precious...

I had one of these dreams... I was in a house that was quickly being covered by floodwaters, and I was trying to call SO to tell him goodbye, because it was a hopeless situation. I couldn''t get a call out, and I was SOOOOO upset, I was so devastated at the thought of not being able to say goodbye, I was sobbing in my dream and woke up short of breath and crying and immediately called SO. He thought it all sounded a bit crazy and dramatic, but he has dreams about losing me and wakes up in panics too

, so I don''t feel TOO silly.
