Hello from Philadelphia!

I am here for 2 weeks for a couple of conference. This weekend my DH came in to visit and we were visiting the jewelry stores recommended by Madam Bijoux. Tiffany in Philly was so-so, I think the one in San Diego has a bigger and nicer selection, Linde Meyer has a wonderful selection of estate and art deco pieces, and Linde (owner) is a very nice person to chat with. Then we went into Jack Kellmer and found their closing of business sale!

They have such a large selection of gorgeous pieces, but what caught my eyes was this amazingly elegant baguette eternity band - it pairs my engagement ring like a dream!

The price was too good to pass up, so with my DH''s blessing, we go it! I only have a crappy picture of it taken with my cell phone, I promise to upload "real pictures" when I get back home after this weekend!

Kaleigh and others who know Kellmer''s, do you know why they are going out of business? The sales lady told me that "the owners want to retire", but I think something else is definitely up...... Are they one of the more reputable jewelry stores in Philadelphia? From what I saw most pieces are gorgeous, but again I did not examine them in hand.
