I have lost it, I am obsessed...

Ok I don''t have my ring yet but my boyfriend bought it, I saw it when it was almost finished but not polished and I picked it out so not a suprise. When my boyfriend went to the jewelry store without me to pay for it he took a picture of it with his phone and sent the picture to me on my phone, so I have been obsessed with this like opening my phone 20 times a day to look at it even though it''s a horrible camera phone picture. So today i figured I would send the picture from my phone to my computer and see if I could get it on here. I know it''s bad but it''s all I have since i don''t have the ring yet and have no idea where it even is, but I just thought I''d share because I''m crazy and excited and obsessed!

Whew! Now THAT''S some bling. Can''t wait to see handshots once you get it! And I totally understand why you''re obsessed. I look at my ideas folder a few times a day and those don''t even exist yet, much less in his posession!

Every morning, over my first cuppa coffee, I check my favorite sites to see if my ring/diamonds are still there! Sometimes I'll also do it in the late afternoon as well.
Hee! LIW is probably the only place where we don't look like total ring freaks!

LOVE it! Oh, and being obsessed is soooooooooo normal. I was without my engagement ring (to change the setting) for 5 days and I was losing it.

I picked out the diamond with my FI and I knew it was in the works and I swear, it was like life was running on Stairmaster time - NEVER ENDING!

I look through my saved images folder all the time. And now that I have the cushion, I take it out and just sit it next to the keyboard while I am on PS (SHHHHHH! Don''t tell my BF

I love it, I am on Stairmaster time! First we looked at tons of diamonds, then we picked a diamond and a setting, then I changed my mind about the setting, then we had it custom made, waiting, waiting, then a week after it was supposed to be done and I thought I was getting it my boyfriend told me the setting had to be remade because I wanted a super thin band but they said the diamond was so big on the thin band that it was rippling or something ahhhh! Then i saw it, then it still needed to be polished, then he went to see the final product and pay for it (a week ago today), then it had to be insured, then it had to be sent out of state, now it has to get sent back, then I have to wait for the proposal.

This whole process hasn''t even been 6 weeks yet! I am definitely on Stairmaster time so I just sit on here all day and look at other people''s rings and obsess...

It is living in my BFs night table drawer until it goes to the appraiser, which I was hoping would be this week, but was not. I think he''s taking it on Monday and HOPEFULLY he will have it put in a temporary setting so he can propose already!!!

I actually had a big, teary breakdown a few hours ago, because I felt like he wasn''t excited and was just stalling or something. But I was being a little irrational and we talked it out, so things are better.

Enough about me...Do you think it will be this weekend? Why did it have to get sent out of state? Do you know if it is back?

Fatafelice- OMG, I couldn''t handle knowing exactly where it is that is awful, and I can imagine you wanting him to "get moving" on it, I guess you just have to trust him! Me too, we want the proposal to be special and a suprise but I''m like "I want it now!" I am already reading into everything. I don''t think it will be this weekend, last night he told me it was still out of state, I don''t know if that is true or not since we live together, he probably wouldn''t have had it sent back tothe apartment anyway. It went out of state because his permanent address is out of state so by the jeweler sending it there he avoided sales tax in this state. Silly boys have no idea how tortured and obsessed we are!
