I have to tell someone!

I just met my boyfriend at his house to go workout. I sat down at his computer to check my e-mail while he was changing his clothes and there was a notepad next to his computer that said 1.03 carat and 1.25 carat some info about the clarity and color for each, some prices and info on a hotel reservation in Key West. And that''s all I saw before he came back!

I know I shouldn''t have read it but when I saw the word carat I could not turn away.

I tried to be cool and normal through the workout and then we were cooling down on our bikes and I could not think about anything but the notepad and I accidentally rode into him and fell off my bike.

Anyway, before I left he told me not to make plans the Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving because he had made plans for us that weekend. I try so hard not to ever get my hopes but now it''s just too late for me to be level headed. Crap, I should not get my hopes up. That''s why I can''t tell even my closest friend. She''ll get excited and then I''ll be more excited and we''ll talk about it all the time. Then that weekend he will say "surprise!" and hand me some football tickets or tell me we are going to a concert with his sister or something like that.

Whew, I feel like I just drank a gallon of coffee.

OMG, your heart must feel like it''s going to pound out of your chest! Do you think he realizes you may have seen it? Or do you think he has no clue that you saw it! I can''t believe he left the pad right there! How exciting for you!!

Do you think you''ll be able to keep it from your close friends for a month??! I think I''d be able to keep it in for about 10 minutes!

I don''t think he realizes I saw it. Last year he left his christmas present list sitting on the coffee table and I saw it. I''m not going to say anything, he loves to surprise me so I don''t want to ruin it for him.

I think once you saw the hotel reservations and the diamond info, it''s perfectly fine to get your hopes up! Those seem like pretty darn good indicators that you''re GETTING PROPOSED TO!!!!! How exciting!
