I just made a tentative invite list...

and I am not even engaged, hoooo boy! I think I need to chill with the wedding stuff for a while.

BF and I had a long talk this weekend and he told me everything was "moving according to plan", and that I shouldn''t worry he was on track. So that was nice to hear, although I don''t know exactly what track that is, I suspect by Spring 2009 we will be engaged

Until then I need to relax and stop looking at stuff, it''s sort of stressing me out a little bit.

I won''t even say how much stuff I already have down on paper... but let''s just say, a tentative guest list is one of them

I say, if it stresses you out, maybe you''re in a bit too deep right now... it''s supposed to be fun! Have fun with the light details and let the stress come when there''s no other choice

I am right there with you, tentative guest list and a lot more..lol I have came to the conclusion though that I would really love to save some stuff for when I''m actually engaged, so that''s exactly what I''m doing... what I have ''done'' is saved to my computer and I will re-visit it when I''m engaged. I still frequently visit wedding sites for ideas and stuff, but I am "OK" with how my relationship is headed and how great things are progressing. I am really hoping for a holiday proposal... I totally had a tentative guest list and a bunch of other stuff already researched before I got engaged. My FI asked me to stop so we could make the choices together. I did my best to honor his request (which was tough, I slipped a few small times) but now that we''re engaged we have TONS to talk about. I am glad that I didn''t plan the whole thing myself already.

I ditto whoever said that if you feel like you''re getting overwhelmed just make a folder and stick it all in there and tuck away for when that magical moment arrives.

Hee, hee...us too! We''re already planning on a 10/09 wedding, sat down and wrote out the guest list together (most guests are from his side), and still aren''t officially engaged yet!

Thinking of grilling my mom...if he''s planning on doing it soon, he''s probably gotten her blessing by now. He got my oldest son''s this past weekend.
