I''m excited because my ring is finally done! I just had to share with people that understand this excitement. My boyfriend is wiring the balance for the setting tomorrow morning, and then Leon is shipping it out, or we''re going to drive down to New York. Have no idea yet because the nearest UPS station for pickup is only open until 6:00 and my boyfriend can''t get off work. GRRRRR.... I have to admit the logistics of getting the ring, are stressing me out, but hey, it''s done. Leon originally was going to send me pics of the ring, but my boyfriend told him not to

. So I''m kind of worried about what it will look like

And the cutest thing is that my boyfriend bought this journal (he''s been writing in it for weeks... I think it''s part of the proposal.) In any case I picked it up yesturday, teasing him that I was going to read it, and it snatched it away from me. In any case, he showed me the back page (to tease me) and said "I made a few diagrams for the proposal" Diagrams...imagine... it''s too cute. Well bare in mind that my boyfriend is the ulitmate jock/hockey freak. His idea of romance is....well I don''t even think he has an idea of romance. I always tell him he''s as romantic as dead fish. I''m being so silly, and so terribly excited to see what he''s up to. Thanks for letting me share ladies!

PS Poor guy this is proably a miserable time for him with no hockey. My best friends uncle is the annocer for the Capitals and used to play in Canda. I miss hockey.

I want to get married in 2008, but the engagement...I don't know when he's going to do it. I think he originally planned for April 27 th 2006 because it will be our 10 th year anniversary, but that the same time, I know he's been planning a proposal for a while. I mean why plan for something that's a year away right??? I have a feeling (knowing him) that he will probably be too excited and do it within a week or two of getting the ring.

I'm a bit nervous I have to admit. I had also wanted to wait to get engaged (I'm one of those people that doesn't like too much change too fast) and life has been insane. Started med school, new house, and now engaged??? It seems like a lot. It's taken 2 years (and one failed proposal) for me to feel like I'm ready for this step, so hopefully I'll have this nervous energy, and not start feeling scared.

I think he will do something special because he's not one for romance on a daily basis, so he said he was going to impress me. Although I did tell him one very important stipulation. If it's PUBLIC, then we'll be planning his funeral, not a wedding

Matatora: My baby ususally suffers from withdrawl during the summer because of no hockey. I can't even believe that he made it through the year. He's a big athlete though, so played on 2 ice hockey and 2 floor hockey leagues this year. It was his hockey fix. Although on a normal year, he plays on 2 ice hockey teams... so it's still super exaggerated. I didn't cry when I saw the diagram but it made me feel really special. Oh it sounds like he's a bad guy and he never does anything, but it's not true. He does little things daily to make me feel special, but well....sometimes a little romance is nice right?

Thanks for being so wonderful ladies! I haven't told any friends/family about this, so it's good to be able to share!
