Last winter I turned to you to find a nice stone to make a pendant for my wife. And boy did you help me! But I didn't find the right one. But this time I have new candidates and would very much appreciate your help once again.

I absolutely LOVE the first one. I favor color stones that GLOW!
AND the first one does, in a big way!

for the 3rd stone, there aren't any measurements. so i just selected from the first 2 stones.
 
Thanks for the input! The measurements for the third stone are 10.9 x 8.6mm.
 
are you at all able to get the vendor to put the 3rd stone side by side with the first stone??
 
They are from different vendors...
 
alright, ive watched that video a few more times.
I still like the first one more because it's richer in hue. to my eyes it appears much more saturated.

the chubbier shape is cute. but on the neckline a slender pear is aesthetically very pleasing, elongating the neck.

But you must trust yourself and go with what you love most.

im just offering my opinion.

I personally like fat pears so 3 is my choice. I'd have to enlarge the screen a bit more to see whats going on but it warrants a closeup.

Any comments on treatments from seller? what about a report from an independent lab?

Also return policy matters.
 
3 is heated. 1 & 2 Is not stated but I assume they are. 3 have a good return policy. 1& 2 is unknown since it is from a reseller to businesses and they normally dont sell to end customers. I assume that I will not be able to return it since the stones are not in stock. I got a look at their usual stock and didn't find anything. So the seller said he would see if his guy in Thailand had anything. Hence 1&2 showed up, but it will be a custom order.
1&2 are from a respected, well known seller. It was my local goldsmith that recommended me to contact them. But when I asked to look at their stock they first turned me down since they only sell to businesses. After I apologized and told my story they said that they could make an exception.
 
Do you mind that heated?? some people mind, some people don't...

Since they made and exception for you, you could ask if 1 and 2 seller will offer a return policy because you would like to see them in person. Are you comfortable with that??

Is it a surprise for your wife?? If it isn't you can also ask her which she likes best...
 
The necklace is a semi surprise, she knows she's getting one. She gets to se the stones but don't know how much they are or when she will get it. I have disguised it in a "someday I'm gonna get you a nice necklace, is this something you think is pretty" rouse.
 
Oh sorry, forgot to answer your question. No I don't have a problem with heated stones.

I like the 3rd one too, although it maybe isn't fair to compare a video with still photos? :)
The first one seems to have a window, but it could just be the angle of the photo.

Whichever you pick, she's going to end up with a big, beautiful piece!
 
If you don't mind heated, then 3 is probably a good choice and its mostly because its so freaking eye pleasing. To be on the safe side I'd still want to send to a lab. "trust but verify" is the motto.

So for disclosure, I have a ridiculously big screen 4k screen. so yes I totally opened that video to full sized....lol I absolutely love the color of it and it has to do with the actual hue I see. I'm hoping its that way in person because its really really nice!!

I do like No2 better than 1 but take this with a grain of salt, they're a touch too dark for me...its a preference after all. If you want that color then by all means, 2 is a much better choice. 3 has the shape in its favor, it looks to be decently cut with chunky facets, and you already know it to be heated (again, send to a lab at least for a brief if nothing else to verify). 1 to me has undeniable window which even as a necklace, would not be the most desireable given the choices.
 
I might be outnumbered here but my vote is for number 2! I like the colour and shape better than the others but it is based on your personal preference!
