PSers, on Friday I proposed to my fabulous girlfriend, who LOVED the diamond that I picked out thanks to all the wonderful people here. I had been dropping hints that I was going to propose to her in May, so it came as a complete and total surprise when we were stopped in an isolated place along the water and I asked her to marry me. Afterwards, I had rented out a lighthouse for the evening so the two of us dined alone at the top of the lighthouse (a waiter brought food from a restaurant down the street) and we watched the sunset. I also brought a box of photos and various mementos of the search (e.g., the box the diamond came in, the GIA certificate, etc.) so I had to tell her all about PS and the search. Thank you everyone!
