I''ve known for a week or so that my bf plans to take me on a surprise trip to propose (this will be in Spring of 2009). Being the nosy little fool that I am, I started asking if I should renew my passport. He said I should always have a valid passport...but hinted that the proposal will be somewhere in the U.S. When he said that I asked "are you taking me to the college town where we first met?" Turns out that I guessed his plans; I just read his mind. I have a long wait to go so I made a promise to not uncover any more of his plans bc now he is back to brainstorming.

I used to guess a lot of things beforehand as well. Eventually I turned it into a personal game of "let''s see if I was right" and kept my guesses to myself.

Now if FFI starts to give me hints about something or brings up a gift in advance my only question is "is it alive?" - I know the answer will always be "no" so it''s a safe question to ask.

Who knows, maybe he will opt to change his plans now that he knows you guessed.
