...that he has it! I went out for a couple of hours this evening (told him how long I''d be before I left), and while I was gone there was a sudden downpour. When I got home and came inside, two things caught my attention - the floor was already wet and his shoes were in the path of the door as I opened it. I asked him where he went (and cited the wet floor), and he completely ignored the question. He acted like I didn''t say anything more than "hi" and then changed the subject.

If he went and got the ring, he''s awful at hiding his tracks. Not even an attempt at a cover story!!

I expect a gorgeous RB solitaire, because we completely agreed on that when we went ring shopping, but I should also admit to dropping more than a few hints about Mark Morrell

. Other than that, no clue. And I really have nooooooo idea what to expect as far as a proposal goes. On one hand if he has a plan, I''d love to find out what it is, but on the other hand I''m A-OK with him doing it, say....NOW....if he just can''t help himself....

Sooooo, small update! 1) I''m pretty (ok, REALLY) darn sure he has the ring. 2) His quals (which he wanted done before proposing) take place this Wed. 3) Today he kept asking if I had any plans this Saturday and started to say "ok, if not, then I''m going to.." but stopped himself, grinned, and then refused to finish his sentence. Any guesses what he was going to say?? He''s been enjoying toying with me, so I''m pretty sure his "slip" was completely on purpose just to drive me nuts. Maybe he''s going to make dinner plans for Saturday???

I''m sitting here bouncing up and down. I can''t wait!!
