......for finally fixing their email issue and forwarding me ALL the emails from people offering to buy my shit at full price after I had to fire sale it and lose half of my money. Thank you. No, really. I LOVE being bling poor.

Sincerely,

Sox.

Uugh. That is awful

Oh ugh :(. So sorry.

Ugh!!!! Just ugh!!!

Every time I have listed something, I have listed it on LT and DB. Both times that my sales went through, it was on DB.

Sorry this happened to you soxfan. I think including an email in your Loupe Troop listing is a good safeguard because more often than not there have been email issues with Loupe Troop. I *think* Loupe Troop was started by a PSer (but I could be completely wrong about that) as a service to PSers and all those who wanted to sell their unloved unworn bling and I think they probably are doing the best they can...but I understand your frustration and I am sorry you lost money on your sales because of glitches on Loupe Troop.:(

Sorry to hear this, Soxfan! I agree with Missy about including an email in LT listings, just to be sure.

I was just being humorous. I love LT, but I hate fire-saling. I'm sure most of us can commiserate on it. But that's the way it is with buying and selling...

Oh no soxfan...so sorry to hear about this...I would be super frustrated to and thanks for the heads up!

OMG... that would make me so mad! (...almost as mad as when I missed a definite sale on my old setting because a vendor failed to list it after she'd said she would --- three times over several weeks.):angryfire: And I'm STILL trying to sell it over a year later. ::)

I'm sorry, sox... that sucks. ::)

Edited to add that it's now with a great vendor -- thanks Erica!!

Definitely. I just wish I could part with the bling I don't wear. I obviously have issues as I want to keep everything and hate getting rid of anything. And I mean almost anything. My poor dh because he is the opposite and when he buys new clothes or shoes he gets rid of other clothes and shoes. I need to take a photo of his closet and share it here LOL.

LOL I hope he won't be mad at me. I just went to his closet and took a few pics. I mean am I crazy or is it pretty organized? I wouldn't dare take a photo of any of my (8 lol) closets. I hate getting rid of anything as I wrote above. I do of course but it takes me a long time and I fill the closets right back up no problem.

So impressed with his closet, Missy! Will he come here and organize my closets and life? :cheeky:

Soxfan: same thing happened to me (only I was too lazy to even drop the prices) and was just inundated with a blizzard of emails. I guess that's the price we pay for the convenience of a secondhand site like LT. Or, occasionally, I list things on DB as well and often have luck there. :))

LOL for you minous of course!!! I am happy to lend him out.:halo: I think he enjoys organizing. What kind of sicko did I marry.:cheeky:

Is he a serial killer?:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I am going to show these pics to my DH to give him something to aspire to- his closet is the complete opposite!

And sorry for your email troubles, Soxfan, I'm always just on the point of listing several things for sale and never seem to get round to it, this sort of thing puts me off even more!

Missy - it is called "closet beautiful"

Soxfan - I am very sorry. Perhaps May is simply a bug-laden month?

(My donation today was processed 8 times through Paypal! I don't know if it is Paypal's glitch or the recipient's software).

The same kind of sicko I aspire to find and marry some day!

I hope that for you too minous!!!

OMG, my twin spirit

lol there's more than one of you. I feel so inadequate ::):cheeky:

Lol so is my closet. :oops2:

Thank you. Yes I wish I had this skill. I firmly believe opposites attract. If not for my dh I might have dozens of cats and no space at all left in any of my closets.

If it makes you feel any better I got over 20 old emails from people that had been trying to contact me to buy stuff all the same day all at once and 3/4s of them didn't get to me until many weeks to over a month later so no clue.....

Isn't LoupeTroop just a free venue to list items? The seller choosing not to hold out for top dollar is the seller's choice. You put your email address in the ads on April 7 or so. There was nothing preventing you from adjusting a price up or down. If you could not adjust the price back up and then wait for the right buyer to pay the original price you asked, that's your decision. If you could not afford to take a loss, you should have just held out longer.
So. Much. Needless. Drama. Repeatedly, all the time on this board. It's why I lost interest in the Pricescope community and only visit occasionally. That, and the Pricescope *insistence* that a seller should always lose lots of money when selling any decent diamond. Like, never get more than 80% or maybe not more than 50%.

Drama? Orrrrr maybe just a sarcastic funny post about the LT email issue. If I couldn't have afforded to take a loss, common sense dictates I wouldn't have sold. But if you want to avoid drama by creating drama, go right ahead. I won't stand in your way.:lol::lol:

I DO agree with you about the PS insistence that a seller should lose lots of money when selling. It's frustrating for sure....
