Ideal cut diamond vendors - who to consider?

Hi all,

I don't frequent the board much lately, but my niece's bf has asked for help. I would like to direct him to an ideal cut round diamond, but I am a little out of touch with which vendors are offering these.
I know there is white flash, but who else is there?

You should also consider CBI , Crafted By Infinity diamonds. They have several retailers. However, because they have several different retailers, there is no blanket trade up policy around. I have 5 CBI diamonds and they are the most beautiful diamonds I’ve ever seen.

so this is where i get confused.. I never kept up and figured out the situation with CBI and HPD... I know there was some issue. Are wolf diamonds not CBI? I actually can no longer find CBI diamonds.. We are located in NY.. Is Wink no longer associated with Wolf? If they still exist and are reputable.. I was hoping for a CBI.. but can't seem to find anything regarding this.

Wolf was separate from CBI, CBI is it’s own diamond cutting company who worked with Wolf. The good news is that you can still buy CBI diamonds!

For a newbie, I would definitely have him call Yekutiel from IDJ , he can walk him through the process and help him make an educated purchase for a competitive prices.

As far as CBIs are concerned, I LOVE my CBIs. But now that Wink is no longer affiliated....I am not familiar with the current vendors and have not heard enough from other pricescopers yet to be comfortable personally. I’d be very interested in anyone here weighing in regarding a recent CBI purchase with the current vendor
