Ideas for .25ct stone

I recently purchased a .25ct OMC (slightly under 4mm). It was an impulse purchase, so I didn’t have any pre-planned ideas for it.

I’m leaning towards a bezel pendant with milgrain (would send to DK for this), but was hoping to hear what everyone else would do with it if it were yours so I can get some ideas before I commit to anything!

Personally, I would Gypsy set it in a bombe ring setting, or bezel or flush set it in a plain band of equal width or slightly bigger to the diamond.

A 4mm stone in a dainty pendant would disappear around my chunky neck!

Personal preferences and all that.

Bezel pendant! I had a Tiffany’s DBTY with a .07 diamond that I wore daily for over 10 years! Just upgraded to a .54 OEC from old world diamonds and I love it but glad I still have my smaller one too. Perfect for stacking.

I have just done the very thing you suggested, a single stone bracelet. I didn’t want a bezel setting though.

I’m still leaning towards a pendant of some sort. EClove’s is so gorgeous that I’m really tempted to stick with my original plan of a simple bezel pendant!
Although, I do find the idea of an octagonal pendant very intriguing... I will be sure to update when I make a decision!

If I wanted something with more oomph - I’d do a snake ring or a pendant with more metal. I’ve always loved Cheyenne Weil’s work and many of her rings and pendants feature smaller stones.

Either option sounds great! The simple bezel pendant is classic and versatile yet the octagonal pendant would offer more presence and will be a unique piece!

I have a .20 ct round currently in an antique solitaire ring setting. I'm not sure if mine is worth spending money on resetting yet, but if I did, I was thinking of doing the same bezel pendant you are thinking of. My personal preference for a smaller diamond like these is to fit the chain so that the pendant falls at the lower most point of the Suprasternal notch (had to look up the name lol- the hollow at the base of the neck)

I also like @Mreader 's idea of the airline, or a slightly wider engraved bezel to give it more presence.
