If you could do it again... what would you have done.

Hi I am getting married in July 06 and just wanted some insight that people would have done differently if they were to have a wedding again.

I am the groom and was only in charge of my own tux. My fiancee is pretty hard at work doing what she needs to do.. stuff I have no idea about.

So I just wanted to hear what you all have to say. Maybe we can discuss it on this forum.

Well..... since you''re the guy and I wish my husband had done this, I''ll offer it!

If I could do it again, I wish my dear hubby would have done more to help take the stress off of me!!! He''s GREAT at calming me down when I do get overwhelmed, but it would have been so nice if he''d helped keep me from getting that stressed in the first place.

The reception is a prime place where boys can pitch in - take charge of the dj, or finding a caterer. Even doing some of the preliminary research (here is a list of the photographers in our area who shoot the style we like and their phone numbers) will help her out so much. Or she can give you a list of things she needs from the craft store and you can go buy them for her. If you really don''t have a clue or she wants to be in charge of everything, then buy her a massage or spa gift certificate and make her use it a month or 2 before the wedding date.

BTW, congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
