The ring is not nearly as good as the man who gave it to me - but, it's the ring I'll share with you.

I wanted an antique-inspired setting, but preferably not an old ring. It is platinum and ordered from a jeweler in London with a diamond - 1.51 F ex ex ex SI1 Hearts and Arrows (without visible inclusions)mined who-knows-where then to me via Antwerp and New York and California. We.'re very pleased with it and the engagement that started the whole thing...You'll need to go to the next frame to see it.

That is truly the worsT kept secret...

I used to work a few blocks away and that was the greatest way to go home from office every night: if it wasn't too late for shopping I'd really be in trouble now

but to let you know that Old Bond Street is, probably since you left, the home of apparently one of two DeBeers stores (on the corner of Piccadilly) in the world.... Maybe it's time for a return visit?
