I'm 90% sure the RING is in the HOUSE!

This Saturday I was wondering if the ring came in yet & I was thinking of places he would put it if it did. The only place I could think of was this small safe that we keep all of our important papers in. I looked on his side of the bed & there it was out in the open with the keys in it...I was pretty sure that that meant he didn't have it yet.

Last nite we were sitting on the couch watching TV & he got a phone call from his mom. He was really short with her & all he said was "Yeah...not right now...maybe here in a few minutes...ok...bye" & he was kinda whispering. My first thought was that she was asking him something about my Christmas presents. Then a few minutes later he got up and went into the bedroom. I got up to go into the kitchen, as I was passing our bedroom, I saw him hunched over his nightstand messing with something that sounded like keys. That's when I started to think...maybe he wasn't talking to his mom about my Christmas present...maybe its my ring!!

This morning after he left for work I looked on his side of the bed, where the safe had been Saturday morning & IT WAS GONE! I opened his nightstand & there it was with the key missing!!!! Ahhhhh I'm going crazy!!!!

I think so too maebelle....and I hate to admit this...but I shook the safe ....and something is definitely sliding around in there!! And all we ever keep in it is paper work!!

This morning we were talking about how excited we are for Christmas. (Its our first Christmas in our first house & we're having tons of people over Christmas eve) And he told me that I get to open the first present. And I said "Do I get to pick which one?" and he said "No, there's one specifically that I want you to open first" The thing is that typically we only open gifts Christmas morning, but his father lives a few hours away & will be at our house Christmas Eve so him, his son, his brother, nephew & father will exchange gifts that night.

That leaves me wondering....will it be Christmas eve or Christmas morning?

Well I know one thing is for sure. I need to buy some really cute PJ's for Christmas morning just in case! Oh & I need a manicure! SO EXCITED!!!

Sounds very promising!! It's funny because these are the two things I've been thinking (BF has been acting super sneaky about Christmas and I think he has the ring already). But the other night BF came home from Walmart with a pair of super cute PJ pants for me. And I keep thinking to myself, "I wish I could get out and get a manicure without him knowing I suspect something is coming!!" lol

What a good idea Maebelle!! I got my nails done today

So I'm READY! LOL. He better not be tricking me! He just said again that I get to open up the first present & that he is "dyyyyiiing" to give it to me! The way he's talking about it...I think its going to happen Christmas morning instead of Christmas Eve. Which is kinda disappointing bc I had pictured having all my family around me right when it happens & giving them all big hugs & taking photos....but at the same time I'm kinda looking forward to having the proposal be a sweet, quiet moment. His son, brother, nephew & mother will be there Christmas morning...but my family won't. We won't see my family til Christmas dinner. But I will get to celebrate with them then, so no worries

The super nice, super expensive camera I've been admiring.

It was a great present and something I've wanted for a LONG time. So I don't mean to sound like a spoiled brat but I can't help feeling a little disappointed that it wasn't the ring

I know its going to happen to soon because he has it in the safe & he keeps talking about how he thinks he has the perfect proposal for me. But I did really get my hopes up that it was going to happen during Christmas. I mean come on...Who wouldn't with all the things he kept saying?! I bet he didn't even think about the fact that I would think one of my gifts was my ring

Well...at least my nails look good! LOL.
