...and I never thought I''d be in this LIW forum again so soon!

For those of you who may not have been around following my story early this year, I broke off an engagement to a boyfriend I had been with for nearly five years, due to some differences we could not work out. I was supposed to have been married this past July, but instead we parted ways and he moved out. I sat around cuddling the cat and eating lots of ice cream for about two weeks, and then I turned my focus to myself. I bought my own condo, set up a new car lease, and started my Masters degree in education. I supported my family as my mother was diagnosed with and treated for cancer - she''s recovered amazingly well and is going back to work soon.

I also went on Match.com and posted a profile to try and dip my toes back into the dating pool. I found out I was a hot commodity as a single woman and did a TON of dating this spring and summer and had a great time meeting all kinds of new people. After the events of the past year or so, I figured I would be single for a while and I was not prepared to be swept off my feet.

Then I met someone very unlike the rest...

I am so lucky he found me on Match and started emailing me. He''s so good for me - sweet, handsome, playful, generous, hardworking and a talented musician (he is amazing on the piano). I''ve never been this happy and comfortable with someone so quickly. He feels the same way about me, luckily, and even though he''s only known me and dated me for a few short months, he already hints that I''ll be planning a wedding next summer. I told him to spend all four seasons with me first before thinking about that, but we''ll see, he''s head over heels crazy about me.

So, just wanted to share the good news with you. I am returning to the list!

Hey - good to see you back!

I am so happy things are going better for you, sorry to hear about your Mom but that is wonderful news that she is making such a good recovery.

Your new guy sounds great!

Welcome back Equ!

I wish you all the best with your new beau. Keep us posted!

Thanks, Lorelei! The guy''s got no horse experience, but I''m looking to fix that eventually.

Thank you, DJ! I''ve missed you guys this summer, barely even had time to lurk around. Glad to be back in action here.

welcome back EQ!! that''s so great that you have found someone new who you are clicking with so quickly. i would just give my uber-rational two cents and say yes spend all 4 seasons together before getting engaged, you don''t want to rush into anything...forever is forever...so just take it slowly...but yay for a great guy and a new condo and all the other great things that have been happening. keep us posted!

That''s great to hear EQ!!! I''m so happy for you!!!

Hi! I''m new here, so it''d be kind of weird to welcome you back, but that''s a really awesome and interesting story! I''m really happy for you that you took care of yourself and, in so doing, ended up finding a guy who fits so perfectly with you!

Welcome back! Sounds like you had a very productive last half a year or so! I''m so glad to hear about your mom recovering and you finding a new guy! I agree that you should at least spend a year together before making a lifelong commitment. Keep us posted. Congrats on the condo too!

Yay! Welcome back Equ.

Isn''t it odd what turns up when you''re not looking for it!

Your post should be a great example to all those girls who are ''settling'' for someone rather than taking the risk and moving on to find the right person. You can fall in love more than once and in my experience it gets better!

It''s so good to have you back! Enjoy the bliss!

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome back, everyone.

(I''m really new here, but) Thanks for sharing the good news!
I went through something similar with my relationship, so it''s good to know that other people can relate!

Hi! I''m also new but wanted to chime in and greet you - that''s a great story and a beautiful photo too!

I second Delster, and good for you for taking care of yourself and your mom and getting back in the dating pool! I''d say a new wonderful soon-to-be hubby is an excellent reward

PS I LOVE horses and wish I could ride every day! Unfortunately we have almost no riding centers close by and what is somewhat close is insanely expensive
