...and I never thought I''d be in this LIW forum again so soon!
For those of you who may not have been around following my story early this year, I broke off an engagement to a boyfriend I had been with for nearly five years, due to some differences we could not work out. I was supposed to have been married this past July, but instead we parted ways and he moved out. I sat around cuddling the cat and eating lots of ice cream for about two weeks, and then I turned my focus to myself. I bought my own condo, set up a new car lease, and started my Masters degree in education. I supported my family as my mother was diagnosed with and treated for cancer - she''s recovered amazingly well and is going back to work soon.
I also went on Match.com and posted a profile to try and dip my toes back into the dating pool. I found out I was a hot commodity as a single woman and did a TON of dating this spring and summer and had a great time meeting all kinds of new people. After the events of the past year or so, I figured I would be single for a while and I was not prepared to be swept off my feet.
Then I met someone very unlike the rest...
I am so lucky he found me on Match and started emailing me. He''s so good for me - sweet, handsome, playful, generous, hardworking and a talented musician (he is amazing on the piano). I''ve never been this happy and comfortable with someone so quickly. He feels the same way about me, luckily, and even though he''s only known me and dated me for a few short months, he already hints that I''ll be planning a wedding next summer. I told him to spend all four seasons with me first before thinking about that, but we''ll see, he''s head over heels crazy about me.
So, just wanted to share the good news with you. I am returning to the list!
