I’m engaged! Soooo exciting! I’m mostly a lurker here, but PS was very helpful during our search for the perfect diamond.
We live in NJ, so were able to contact a few well known PS vendors in the area. We ultimately decided on GOG because Tim was so helpful and patient! I really cannot say enough about how patient he is….I must have asked him switch diamonds out of settings a million times…hehe…
Ok, now to what you really want to know.
1.84 Cushion Brilliant

This is an EGL USA certified diamond. NOT what I was looking for, however when Tim called it in, he was pretty sure I would LOVE it….and I do!
We sent the stone to GEM Appraisers, and David Atlas and Chris looked at the stone and assured me it was a good one.
Interestingly, Chris appraised it as an I (but said it was a high I) , VS1. So it wasn’t far off from the cert.
Enough babbling….here are the pics!
ps....it''s a Vatche X-prong in platinum....love this setting!

I just want to know why it isn''t an old mine brilliant! maybe egl doesn''t have that designation, because it certainly would qualify! No, I daresay old mine cut all the way! love it!!!!!
