So following my accidental discovery of the ring, TJ and I set out for the long weekend. We went up to NY state to visit some friends and family. He made me wait. We were driving around his hometown last night and he kept stopping or pulling over to show me picturesque views or special places he had as a kid. Well at one, in the town that he met his first love in, he popped the question. He wasn''t down on one knee but he said the 4 magic words and pulled out the ring. I of course said yes. It wasn''t the "perfect" dream proposal, but it was perfect for us. Just perfect. I''m actually in the car on the way home (gotta love wireless cards) but I''m on his work computer so I can''t upload any pics. I''ll do that first thing tonight when we get home. But, it''s a 1.06 oval center with a WG halo setting. Total weight is 1.61 ct and the center is an H/SI2. The cut is excellent. It''s so bright and sparkly, I love it!
