Hey ya’ll!! I’ve been a longtime lurker (and admirer) here on pricescope, and I’m happy to have finally joined the “elite”!
The Proposal:
The whole thing started with my fiancé calling me earlier in the day to make plans to go to the park that evening after we both got home. As I was on my way home, he called and told me to come to his place and he would see me soon. When I got to his front door I saw a small note… which led me on a note-searching scavenger hunt all over his apartment, leading to a clue with a map. The map led me to a beautiful park here in Houston… where he had hid more notes near statues, ponds, etc… FINALLY, I found him sitting on a park bench waiting for me. He said all the wonderful things a girl hopes to hear and then got down on one knee and proposed!! I was so shocked… we have been together for 4 years, but I had no clue he was going to pop the question. As soon as the shock wore off, we called our parents (my parents already knew, since he had swung by their house earlier in the day to ask for their blessing!). I’m so excited to be engaged to my best friend and the perfect man for me.
