I''m getting married tomorrow!

I can''t believe how fast the time went by. Since it''s technically 5/9 where I am, I can officially say I''m getting married tomorrow (Sunday 5/10)!

And while I''m here, might as well ask...it''s been raining like CRAZY for the past week or two, so please send me some dry weather dust! It''s not supposed to rain on Sunday - let''s keep it that way.

Hey all! Your dust worked - the sun was shining and everything was fabulous! There were a few minor issues, such as the sound system (the wind rendered the wireless mics fairly useless), bridesmaids' heels popping through the foam boards we bought to keep them from sinking into the ground (and the ensuing laughter during quiet parts of the ceremony), and ambient noise (somehow people failed to inform me that there's a Mother's Day truck run in our area, when all the truckers honk their horns while they drive down a nearby stretch of road in a Mother's Day tribute!). I'll be back to post pictures later, just on the way to spend a week with my new husband and watch him graduate from med school, and then we go on our honeymoon in Key West. Regarding the dress, the halter top alteration worked out beautifully, and the bustle was also nice (although it was a little too long - I kept stepping on the dress even after it was bustled!). Here's a quick little picture of us newlyweds that also shows off my dress, bouquet, and veil. See you all later!

ETA: You can see my e-ring on my right hand in the pic. I wore it that way so it wouldn't be in the way for FI to put my wedding ring on my left hand. He didn't quite get it and tried to put the ring on my right hand! Then he couldn't push it over my knuckle, so I had to put it on the rest of the way myself...LOL!
