I''m new! Add me to the LIW list & my story!

Hey everyone! What an AMAZING site this is. I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you all a little bit about me and my SO. We are both seniors in college and have been dating for almost 3 years. We met in our first semester, we had a math class together. SO thought I was quite annoying at first (I wanted a study group...and he did not). Myself, him, and some others exchanged phone numbers to get together for studying. I called him the next day (at this point with no romantic interest at all). He later told me he almost didn''t answer the phone that day! He did though and he and I studied together all semester. Who knew that after a few months he went from being annoyed by me to falling for me. I felt the same way after having spent so much time with him, I couldn''t imagine not seeing him after the semester ended, and we started dating. Things progressed quickly and we moved in together at 7 months. Things are great and we''re both really happy. I may be on the LIW for a record length of time. We have discussed marriage over the last 2 years and agree it''s what we both want. We both, however, are very motivated and still have a LOT of school ahead of us. We''ve often joked about getting married on our 10 year dating anniversary, which we checked on the calendar and happens to be a Saturday!

In the meantime as I scope this site and find me dream ring for my wedding in some 7 years, LOL, I look forward to listening to everyone vent and offer advice where I can!!

Dragonfly-- thanks! Looks like I''m not the only who''ll be waiting a decade

I''m at Univ. of South FL, senior year! But no worries, grad school will consume the next 6 years of my life! I''m going for my doctorate in Audiology and PhD in hearing sciences.

I''ve already been having fun here for a month or so and thought it was finally time to join in on the fun! School, work, and SO consume most of my time, but our fave couples hobby, oddly enough, is recreational shooting. We have a ball at the range! We''re both pretty laid back and carry heavy schoo schedules so most of our free time is loafing time watching some of our fave shows and movies.

How cute that you guys checked the calendar for your 10 year anniversary!!!

*sigh* - I''m not in school anymore (graduated a few years ago) - but to think if I applied myself to school the way I apply myself to this site, imagine all the things I could''ve accomplished.
