Improve Picture Uploading

These would be a few nice to haves:

1. PS can rename photo''s when the user uploads as to avoid having to rename all pictures
2. PS can resize the file size to make the picture uploadable
3. The ability to upload multiple pictures in a single post.

I would also like the option for deleting pictures. For example, if you upload the wrong picture, and you want to delete it.

How about the ability to add images directly to posts via the

code?

That way we can put multpile images into one post and then you can edit and delete them as you please?

Other forums I post on allow linking to photos from elsewhere i.e I upload to photobucket or ophoto and link to them from the forum. Is there a reason you guys don''t do this on here?

100kb per photo is also a bit in the dark ages!!

The reason we don''t allow photobucket and other hosting sites to be linked, is that we get too many broken links. We found that pictures get removed, deleted or are not maintained and our posts end up without pictures. To keep the forum clean and maintain the continuity of the forums, we ask that all pictures be uploaded to Pricescope.

We are working on improving picture uploading to make it more user friendly and not in the dark ages. Stay tuned!

Would it be possible to have any attached photo(s) show up in the PREVIEW pane, before hitting "submit" for a new post?

THAT would be really nice. Sometimes it is still a complete surprise to me how large or small my photos show up! (Of course, that's probably mostly operator trouble!)
