Hi Y'all,
I am searching for a wide (cigar band type width) sapphire baguette diamond band, I found one at a local jewelry store in my area and the price was just way overpriced. Let me explain, I was told this was an estate piece, the price was $6,500+tax. So why the 300-400% markup?????????????? Estate is suppose to be a reduced price.
Here are the particulars:
18KT Yellow Gold
30 Melee diamonds total diamond weight is .98 TCW High Quality
Baguette Sapphires 4.98 TCW Good Saturation, medium dark blue sapphires.
The baguette sapphires are through the center of the ring from east to west. The RB diamonds are above and below the sapphire baguettes also from east to west.
This is a wide band taking up most of the space up to just below the knuckle. The diamonds are about 3 pt. each, bright white.
If I were to price this ring I would estimate it $3500 not $6500 especially considering it is an estate or pre-owned piece.
Has anyone seen this ring anywhere? Thank you all so much.
