Just received my indicolote tourmaline set in YG. I love it. It''s a bit difficult to take pictures of the necklace. The stone is absolutely a beautiful blue and no dark areas in it. Pear shaped, approx 1.2ct.

I love this color blue. It reminds me of a swimning pool...

I took a bunch of pictures, but most of them was not focused or just not worth posting. This is the last one. Thanks for looking!!

WOWZA!!!!!

mochi, only 3 pics? That''s not like you! I love the pendant, and the color combo is what I was thinking of for my light blue stone, but alas, mine is not as saturated as yours. The blue and yellow gold looks beautiful together.

What a gorgeous stone!! Just a beautiful color, YUM!

It''s beautiful!

Very cool color. Enjoy!!

Beautiful open colour!

That''s a lovely gemstone and an unusual shade for Indicolite. I bet it glitters in the sunshine doesn''t it?

Only three pictures??!! Is it a cuprian?

We need more!!

It is so lovely. What a divine color.

That was my first thought!

Mochi sorry about the threadjack - TL, what are your thoughts on pink cuprians? Rare? Easy to find? etc

The copper in a rubellite has nothing to do with it''s glow. A good rubellite is a good rubellite regardless of whether it has copper in it or not. However, some unscrupulous sellers will sell rubellite for more simply because it has copper and because of the paraiba craze. The copper causes the turquoise color in paraiba, but not in rubellite, or pink tourmaline for that matter. The important thing with pink tourmaline or rubellite, is to make sure it''s not treated, and it''s a very vivid hot pink/red color that holds that color in various lighting.

My thoughts too - it''s being sold in the UK at the moment as "the next Paraiba" and saying "some people are trying to call this Pink Paraiba"!

Sorry for the threadjack Mochi. xxx

Kribbie, Cellantani: Thank you. I know, I usually put tons of pictures...

I took quite a few but alot of them just didn''t look too good, mainly not focused.

Michelle, Mr.Ma Re, Stoe Hunter, Chrono, Marcy, and LD: Thank you! I went to my jeweller and was looking through his old collection of unset colored stones and this one just drew me in. He had another one but it wasn''t as intense blue like this.

TL: I''ll take more pictures. He didn''t mention the stone to be a cuprian. He had only indicolite written on the box. Not sure about it being copper bearing.

I don''t mind threadjacking at all!

Did your jeweler mention the country of origin?

No he didn''t. It wasn''t written on the bottom of the container either, I looked. I was going to ask but then we started talking about other things. This collection was only a fraction of what he has in his vault. He said he''ll get a collection of them for me to look at in the future.

Maybe he''ll let me take a few pictures...

I did notice, though, that his stones are native cuts and he has alot of darker stones that I wasn''t that thrilled about.

It''s beautiful. I love that color blue and wear it all the time! Hmm.....

Very very nice..sucker looks like a swimming pool..good score mochi!

That''s a lovely blue Mochi - looks great next to your boots too.

I thought copper bearing pink tourmaline is heat treated to get the Paraiba (type) blue colour.

Gorgeous Mochi, very cooling on a scorching hot day!

Ooh I love the colour, good choice.
