A few years back I inherited a ring and a pair of earrings from my Grandmother. Unfortunately, due to her passing, I have never managed to find out the history of the set.

I have scoured the internet in hopes of finding more information but keep hitting dead ends.
The ring itself I believe is gold (not sure about what karat) The stone I have no idea about.
There is a marking inside the ring which says 756. Again, not sure what this means.

If anyone has an idea about when this could have been made, or any other information, I’d be grateful. This has been playing on my mind for a while now. 15A00652-9319-4506-B47F-A1676F2724E4.jpeg

Cameos are hard to determine age unless you are an expert. They can be antique or from the 1970's when they were again popular and not expensive.

756 means 18 karat gold.

how lovelly and pretty to remember your grandma by
do you wear them ?
