I recently had a diamond bangle made by DKJ and I am looking to have a diamond floral station bracelet made to stack with it. I bought a dbty bracelet from Bernice to wear with it before I had one made. I love the look but not the flipping. If anyone has a station bracelet with larger flowers etc, does it still flip?
DK is recommended a thin wire/bangle instead but I want to avoid it rolling over my diamond bangle.
I would appreciate your thoughts and advice.
I have included a picture of my diamond bangle.

Your bangles are beautiful and l love the idea of a thin wire version to stop the flipping. At first I thought you could have the wire version made a little on the small/tight side, or like a thin cuff, and that might stop any movement but then it might turn out that your gold bangle moves over the new floral one. Maybe you could send your diamond bangle to DK and he could make the new bangle to the same dimensions (height off the wrist, if you see what I mean) and that would stop either bangle moving over the top of the other. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Thanks so much for your thoughts. I might have to go with the same dimensions as you suggested as I don’t want either bracelet moving over the other one. I also thought of a wire that is articulated in between the flowers so it could be thin, more like a chain and maybe less likely to flip or catch?

I was researching a DBTY last year and I had a 5mm zircon bezel set in silver to experiment with the flipping - the stone was flipped 99.99% of the time. I did go ahead with the DBTY (it arrived yesterday) and even with the tinniest of stones - most of the stones are flipped most of the time. They still sparkle and because they are so tiny (0.06ct) the casual observer won't notice, but I do think they look prettier when right-side-up. So I may take inspiration from your idea; I'll give it a little time to see how I get on but I can see me visiting my jeweler later in the year to ask about a wired option.

Thank you so much for your update. I will let you know what I end up with. I am waiting to hear more from DK to see how the wire model might look. Good luck with your DBTY. Sounds beautiful despite the flipping.

Following with interest, as I have stopped wearing my DBTY type bracelet from Berricle due to flipping and it annoys me.

DK :))

Sam experience with the dbty. Love the bracelet but hate wearing it due to the flipping.

Thanks for your feedback. As this is an anniversary gift from DH I want to be sure it is something I don’t avoid wearing due to the flipping. I am not sure if a heavier chain of small solid piece that is connected with small jump rings would help with the flipping. I might end up with another bangle if I can’t come up with another solution.
if anyone has one with a thicker chain that doesn’t flip I would love to see pictures.

Just heard from DK. He will be sending a CAD for gold sections in between the diamond flowers that are articulated so it is flexible like a bracelet and a bangle version. He feels the bracelet one might still flip but less so than the chain. Will share both when they arrive. Thanks for your ideas.

I think a chain bracelet with bangles is always going to result in the chain one going under bangles and probably getting scratched even with solid sections. I love the two bracelets you already have!

Thanks for your thoughts. I think you are right. Once I see the CADs I will have a better sense of which direction I want to go in. This is a special gift from DH for a big birthday and 40th wedding anniversary so want to get it right. It will be the third bracelet for my stack. For some reason I like the odd numbers when stacking.

I agree, seeing the CADs will help a lot. I've been married a little longer than you! So I definitely understand wanting to get the right jewelry pieces at this point, especially when it is for a big birthday and anniversary!
