EBree''s dress post got me thinking, and again, we''re just fantasizing here, if price were no object, what insane, over-the-top expenditure would you have for your wedding?

I would fly ever single person first-class and pay for their weekend stays at the Ritz.

As far as the wedding, this would just open up more possibilities of where to have it. However, I would choose the most fabulous photographer...and my hair and makeup..I''d probably go over broad with that too...oh the flowers...flowers would be every where.

Oooh! Didn't have to think long about this one! I'd take everyone here, to Necker Island. It's a privately owned island and you can rent the whole thing. Have you seen this place? It's amazing!!

But, as it is the requirement of this thread, I could never afford it. The pictures are gorgeous though!

We''d have our wedding in Italy and we''d fly everyone there. I''d have a professional brass quintet play at the ceremony and a videographer (which I am not planning on having, just a photographer). I''d probably splurge on flowers and not do them myself, same goes for my veil and invitations. I''d probably get a Reim dress or something like that!!

I''d fly 75-100 guests/friends/family, an awesome photographer, a small film crew and a makeup/hair stylist to Greece, rent out one of those Windjammer-type schooners & sail us all around the Greek Isles.

I know, SDL, isn''t that OUTRAGEOUS! I wonder how often people visit there and what kind of people they are. One thing for sure is they''ve got $$ to burn!

Oh, it would be awesome to have all our families together at the same wedding so I''d fly everybody to the same 5star resort and then do it up with the most gorgeous dress and shoes and hair and makeup, diamonds for our BMs/MOH/mothers, Bon Jovi playing the ceremony (or the Killers, or Depeche Mode, or maybe all of them...), digital cameras for guest favors, oh I could go on and on...

We're looking to take a 12 day Mediterranean (sp?) cruise for our honeymoon. It starts in Venice, goes to several cities in Greece and ends in Barcelona. If we book it almost a year ahead, it's actually pretty reasonably priced!

Oh, and for my contribution to this thread....I'd do what Sunkist suggested!

MMMMM. Sounds amazing! The one time I was in Venice I was totally, completely Solo! I''ve always wanted to go back "a deux". So romantic! ((I''m hoping for a Fiji honeymoon at the Navutu Stars resort ... if we can get enough frequent flier miles by then to fly biz class ... that''s a LONG flight from the east coast))
