Haven’t seen a thread like this, so figured I’d post. Recently proposed to my fiancé and we’re both pumped. I got her a JannPaul engagement ring, with their white series round 10 H&A diamond (amazing rock). We’re looking into getting the ring insured now.
This is the first time I’ve bought fine jewelry and seriously looked at insurance for it. As the round 10 cut is patented and only available from JannPaul, they would need to be the ones to replace in the case of damage/loss. We’re thinking Jeweler’s Mutual looks good, as you can designate a jeweler (I.e. JannPaul) to do the replacement/repair. Does this seem like a reasonable choice? Does anyone who owns JannPaul or other speciality cut stones have other recommendations?
