Intro: New LIW

Hi everyone,

I am a new LIW. I have been dating my boyfriend for 3 1/2 years and at the end of May, we went ring shopping and he put a deposit down on the ring I loved! Now, it has been 2 months and I am more and more anxious everyday. I probably shouldn't have opened my mouth to everyone but I was beyond excited. Now everyday everyone keeps asking me did you get your ring yet or when are you getting engaged? Not to mention, 3 friends have gotten engaged in the last 2 months which makes it soo much worst! So annoying! Well anyway, I am on here to keep myself from losing my mind!

It's great to know that he put a deposit down on the ring Hopefully he won't make you wait forever until he gives you the ring. I think the hardest part about the guy buying the ring is not telling anyone so you don't have to hear all the questions. Good Luck though and welcome and keep us updated.
