So, I talked to my dad and his wife about the wording issue, and they both very amicably agreed that since I was listing parents like this :

Daughter of Joe Indygalsdad[and wife?] and Jane & John Indygalsmomandstepdad

&

IndyFI
Son of IndyFI''s parents

invite you to their wedding"

...instead of...

"Indy Gal''s parents and IndyFI''s parents

invite you to the wedding of

Indy Gal & Indy Gal''s FI"


...that it made no sense for dad''s wife to be on there, since, indeed, I am not her daughter. And my dad seemed pretty chill about having step-dad on there so long as he was lumped in a unit with my mom ''X & Y Jones''. So, no hurt feelings on either count.

So, that''s that battle over and won without casualties!
