I don''t know why I haven''t thought of this sooner...
For all DC area Pricescopers (and any Pricescopers visiting DC):
I am pleased to extend a standing invitation for you to attend any of the Washington, DC GIA Alumni Association''s monthly meetings. Our award-winning chapter is the only GIA chapter with membership open to all. Our members are gemologists, jewelers, lapidaries, artists, gem dealers, appraisers, geologists, mineralogists, hobbyists and gem enthusiasts. Each monthly meeting features a guest speaker who is considered an expert in a particular gemological discipline or jewelry related field.
I want to state right up front that we are a non-profit organization and we exist solely to promote and encourage interest in gemology (so hopefully this posting won''t incur the wrath of Leonid). Please visit our website for more information --

It would be great to meet some of the DC area Pricescope regulars at the next meeting (and for everyone to meet each other).
Regards,
Bill Scherlag
