Is a GIA “Good” cut actually good?

Buzz word bingo site combined with spamming and failure to follow trade guidelines for the forum
Top it off with a large topping of shrilling then wonder why people are annoyed.

Ai has the same problem as any computer data set..
Garbage in means garbage out.
Garbage filters means Garbage out.
Little understanding of its limitations resulting in Garbage out.

Ai used to grade images first needs a huge amount of both bad and good sample images with all of the different photo systems used and the ability to identify which set to use for comparison.
Remember the top 5 things that effect a diamond appearance are...
Lighting
Lighting
Lighting
Lighting
Cut
Where lighting also includes obstruction levels.
So before you evaluate any diamond image for cut you first have to deal with lighting.
The same rules apply for evaluating inclusions with the added issue of focus depth.
I dont know why i took the time to post this just before the delete hammer is coming down.

Folks, I’ve had to delete a lot of posts here all morning because of a spammer, please help me help you all by not engaging with people like this. It makes the cleanup effort much more difficult when I have to read other peoples posts for quotes, edit quotes, remove posts, etc.
